The short version: Chordae uses only one essential cookie — the one that keeps you securely signed in. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, so there’s nothing to consent to or opt out of.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Cookies can be “essential” (required for the site to work) or “non-essential” (analytics, advertising, tracking). Chordae uses only essential cookies.

2. The cookie we use

We set a single session cookie when you sign in. It keeps you authenticated as you move around the portal and is configured to be secure (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax). It contains a signed session identifier — not your password or personal details — and expires when your session ends.

3. What we do NOT use

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising or retargeting pixels, social-media trackers, or any other third-party analytics or tracking cookies. We do not sell or share your browsing data, and there is no cross-site profiling. Because of this, no cookie consent banner is required and there is nothing to opt out of.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking the essential session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in to Chordae.
